One-colour print

A few basics about printing on a balloon in one colour:

  • The technique is screen printing. The ink is transferred onto the balloon through a silk screen. Ink is poured into the frame where the silk is stretched and applied to the balloon through the screen.
  • Only one colour can be poured into the screen.
  • One-colour printing uses only one screen and one colour.
  • A logo with gradients, for example from light grey to dark grey, cannot be printed!
  • With special film preparation we can also print black as a halftone. The film (image or logo) is made of black dots, which from about 2 m look like grey tones. It is not the same as printing on paper. (see the picture)

A few examples of one-colour printing on balloons

If you want your logo to stand out on the balloon, choose a suitable balloon colour.

We can also print your logo on the opposite side of the balloon, so it stays visible when the balloon turns.
