Frequently asked questions about balloon printing

What is the minimum order quantity?

We print standard 30 cm and 45 cm balloons from 30 pieces. We print smaller quantities of 45 cm balloons as an add-on to an order of 30 cm balloons. We print 60 and 90 cm balloons from a single piece.

Can I order balloons in several colours?

Yes. You can choose several balloon colours for one design. In your order, state the quantity of each colour separately.

Can I order different designs in the same order?

To avoid mistakes, it is best to place a separate order for each design. We will then combine them into a single quote.

How do I place an order?

You place your order through the online order form. Choose the type and colour of balloons, the quantity and the printing method. Then attach your design or send it to us by email.

What balloon sizes are available?

We offer standard 30 cm balloons and larger balloons with diameters of 45, 60 and 90 cm. For the larger sizes we use Sempertex balloons.

What is the difference between ECO standard and Sempertex balloons?

ECO standard are classic 30 cm balloons. Sempertex balloons are of higher quality and come in a wider range of colours.

How many colours can you print?

We print in one or more colours, up to five, and CMYK printing is also available. We choose the right option based on your design.

Can you print on both sides of the balloon?

Yes. You can choose printing on one or both sides. Both sides can have the same or a different design. The same design on the second side costs an extra €0.06 per balloon. For a different design we will prepare a quote.

Can I choose the print colour?

Yes. You choose the print colour based on your design and the balloon colour. It is important that there is enough contrast between the print and the balloon so the design is clearly visible.

What file should I send?

A vector file in PDF, AI or EPS format is best. We also accept a high-quality PNG or JPG. If you are not sure whether your file is suitable, send it to us for review.

Can you print a photo?

It depends on the image and the result you want. Send us the photo and we will check whether it is suitable for balloon printing.

Will I get a proof before printing?

Yes. Before printing we send you a JPG proof of the layout. Check the design, size and position of the print. We start production once you approve it.

What if my file isn’t ready yet?

Send us whatever you have. We will review the file and tell you whether we can use it or what needs to be adjusted.

Do the prices on the website include VAT?

Prices in the price list exclude VAT. The final amount depends on the quantity, the number of print colours, the type of balloon and any accessories you choose.

Are there any surcharges?

Metallic balloons cost €0.01 more per balloon and chrome balloons €0.06 more per balloon. Printing the same design on the second side costs an extra €0.06 per balloon.

When do I pay?

Once you have approved the quote and the proof, you receive payment instructions. We start production after the layout is approved and we receive proof of payment.

How long does production take?

We usually dispatch the balloons within two working days. We confirm the exact date when you order.

Is faster production possible?

If you are in a hurry, call us as soon as possible. We will check whether we can produce your order faster.

When does the production time start?

We start production once the proof is approved and we receive proof of payment. We confirm the dispatch date when you order.

Can I also order balloon accessories?
