What is one-colour print?
In screen printing, one chosen ink colour is transferred onto the balloon through a prepared screen. Each print colour needs its own preparation, so one-colour print suits designs that work well in a single colour.
Logos and lettering with clear shapes and good contrast against the balloon colour work best.
Which designs are suitable?
Best suited to one-colour print are:
- logos and symbols,
- short lettering,
- simple illustrations,
- designs with clean edges and details that are not too small.
Standard one-colour print cannot reproduce colour gradients, photos or several different shades. If your logo contains gradients, it needs to be adapted for one-colour print, or you can choose multicolour or CMYK print instead.
With black print, special preparation lets us use halftone dots that create the look of grey gradients from a distance. The result is not the same as photographic or halftone printing on paper.

Choose the balloon and colour
For a standard order you can choose 30 cm ECO standard or Sempertex balloons. Larger Sempertex balloons with a diameter of 45, 60 and 90 cm are also available.
You can choose from a range of balloon colours and print colours. For the best visibility we recommend contrasting combinations.
